What We Believe
Our beliefs are directly found in the Word of God, below is a list of foundational beliefs that we carry. Each one is reference with affirming and corresponding scriptures.
-
God
There is only One God (Deuteronomy 6:4; Ephesians 4:5); Who as Father, is the creator and source of all things (Genesis 1:1); in the Son was made manifest to the world (I Timothy 3:16); and as the Holy Ghost, dwells in mankind by His Spirit (John 14:17, 18). Jesus Christ is the physical manifestation of God, God in flesh. (Colossians 1:5)
-
The Bible & The Gospel
The Bible is inspired by God, and is the infallible and authoritative written Word of God. The Bible is the roadmap by which our lives are governed. (II Timothy 3:16-17; II Peter 3:2).
The Gospel, or "good news" is that of Jesus Christ. The Life, Death, Burial, Resurrection and Second Coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. (Romans 1:16; Acts 2:38-39; Markk 16:15)
-
Salvation
All have sinned against God and are in need of a Savior (Romans 5:12; 3:23) God came Himself robed in flesh to be the ultimate sacrifice for our sins. He is our Savior (2 Corinthians 5:19) He was crucified, buried in a tomb, and rose again on the third day.
Salvation can only be obtained through the plan Peter preached on the Day of Pentecost (Acts 2:1-39) Our salvation is culminated in the likeness of the Lord's death, burial and resurrection. (Romans 6:3-6)
Christ died and we are to "die to our old life and self" through Repentance. (Romans 6:3-6; Acts 2:38) Christ was buried and we are buried through "baptism by immersion of water in Jesus' Name."(Acts 2:38; Romans 6:4; Colossians 2:12) As Christ was resurrected, we are resurrected with Him through the Infilling of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of Speaking in Other Tongues. (Acts 2:1-39; Acts 10:44-46; Acts 19:6; Romans 8:10-11)
-
Second Coming of Jesus Christ
Christ will soon return to earth and catch His Church away. (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17; 1 Corinthians 15:52) We do not know the day or the hour in which He will return. (Matthew 25:13; Luke 21:36) As the Church, we await and watch for His soon return. (2 Peter 3:12)

Christian Living
Every believer must have their own personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Every believer has an integral part to contribute to the Kingdom of God and a specific calling of God to answer. (1 Corinthians 7:17; 1 Corinthians 12:27) We believe that we are to be daily involved in reading the Word of God (2 Timothy 2:15); living a lifestyle of prayer (Luke 18:1; Luke 21:36; Romans 12:12; Ephesians 6:18; Philippians 4:6; Colossians 4:2; 1 Thessalonians 5:17; 1 Timothy 2:8); being faithful in fasting (Matthew 6:16; Mark 9:29;) and exercising in personal evangelism. (Acts 1:9; Matthew 28:19) We as well believe that Godly living and pursuit of a holy lifestyle pleasing unto God should be our goal as believers (Romans 12:1; 2 Corinthians 6:17; Hebrews 12:14)
